Using a pushpin, mark the console lid at each of the two dimples situated on the inside.
While carrying eye protection, drill a 5 mm gap by means of every mark: a. First drill with a three mm drill bit, then end with a 5
mm drill bit. b. The console lid is a hollow building with the higher and decrease plates surrounded by a series of bosses. Drill the holes squarely till the tip of the drill bit comes by the upper plate. c. To prevent the console lid plates from distorting from extreme warmth while drilling, drill the holes slowly.
Using a round file, take away any burrs from the edges of the holes. Be careful not to harm the bosses.
Place the aero display on the console lid, and set up the two screws. Make certain the aero display screen is spaced equally on each sides. If vital, file the screw holes until the aero display is centered between the roll bar trim on each side.
Set up a washer and a cap nut on the top of each screw, and tighten the cap nuts securely. Place a cap over the top of each screw.
Be certain the aero display is not interfering with the roll bar trim when the roof is in the stored position. If essential, file the mounting screw holes, and test the clearance again.
How to Care and Use
The aero display screen plastic lens has a particular protective coating. To prevent the coating from cracking, keep away from utilizing glass cleaners, leather-based cleaners, or sharpening supplies to scrub the lens.
Clear the aero screen solely with a soft cloth or a sponge dampened with a solution of mild dish washing soap and clean luke-heat water. Permit the aero display screen to dry out of direct sunlight.
